Our vision

VYPR is a Manchester (UK) based technology business that transforms innovation success for organisations of all sizes. Founded in 2013, our 100% digital, high-frequency, Agile approach to consumer testing is proven to increase product success over traditional methods.

Every week, we test 1000’s of products with consumers: providing effective tools and techniques – built on data and behavioural science – that deliver cost-effective, fast, reliable, and consumer-led intelligence to improve purchase intent and accelerate product performance.

From initial concepts, product names, branding, and packaging to ingredients, colourways, pricing, and marketing messages, the anatomy of every product is different and it can be difficult to decipher what is driving purchase intent.

Where we began

For too long we’ve been complacent about a 90% failure rate in innovation, highlighting flaws in the innovation process. A lower-risk yet higher-return way to innovate was desperately needed – time to “innovate our innovation”.

Looking to the Technology sector, who were and are effectively using Agile principles to transform their innovation, led founder Ben Davies to start thinking about applying this Agile Innovation approach to product innovation, alongside Bill Harte, and VYPR was then started as a business.

Today, we are growing faster than ever to provide the best possible quality of service to our clients. At VYPR, we know the importance of data, which speaks louder than just words – and so we’re proud to announce that we have a renewal rate of 95%.

Where we’re going

The whole team has shared a firm belief that the product innovation space within Consumer Goods & Retail was ripe for disruption and improvement.

Our hypothesis at the time was ‘how dramatically can innovation outcomes be improved if predictive data is introduced all the way through the product development process?’.

Our ethos has not shifted over the last 7 years, if anything we remain even more resolute. The opportunity is huge, and we aim to have a transformational impact on product innovation in Consumer Goods globally over the next 5-10 years.
