Our Training and Consultancy service is an extension of this commitment, aimed at all professionals including Service Managers and Strategic Leads. We focus on promoting learning, understanding, and the implementation of best practices that protect and support children and young people.

Bespoke Training & Webinars

We understand that each professional’s needs and challenges are unique. That’s why we offer bespoke training sessions and webinars, tailored to meet the specific requirements of teams and organisations. Our training programmes are not just informative; they are transformative and crafted with input from lived experiences. Input from lived experience ensures what we deliver is trauma-informed and the child’s perspective is at the heart of every learning outcome.

Training Available

Our training programmes cover a wide range of areas, designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people:

• Child Sexual Abuse including Child Exploitation
• Understand the complexities and nuances of child sexual abuse and exploitation to better identify and support affected children.
• Harmful Sexual Behaviour
• Learn to recognize and address harmful sexual behaviours among children and young people, promoting safer communities.
• Safeguarding Beyond the School Gate – extending safeguarding practices beyond the traditional school environment, ensuring children’s safety in all contexts.

The training programmes are for professionals to develop a deeper understanding of the subject area and also trauma informed and relational practice to promote best practice and safety planning.

Consultancy Commissioning 

Our consultancy offer is designed to support organisations deliver impactful conferences, conduct in-depth learning reviews, and engage in reflective practice. The commissioning includes:

• Facilitating conferences and panel participation at events, bringing valuable insights and perspectives.
• Independent Learning Reviews – Our independent reviews provide a thorough analysis of serious cases, offering learning points and recommendations for future practice.
• Team Reflective Practice –  To enhance team dynamics, communication, and effectiveness in supporting children and young people.
• Specific Short Term Projects – We collaborate on short-term projects, providing specialist interventions to achieve targeted outcomes and improvements in practice.
